As I reflect on this past year, I’m filled with gratitude for the connections, growth, and opportunities we’ve built together.
This week, I want to share the most impactful lessons I’ve learned—about community, rest, clarity, and empowerment.
This year was hard for so many of us and I know there are many of us that are anxious about what 2025 will bring. I hope that some of this can be helpful for you so we can step into 2025 with purpose and a renewed sense of belonging - together.
Lesson #1: The Power of Peer Mentorship
Whenever I’m navigating a challenge—balancing work and life, or developing a new program—I turn to my community. I believe in the power of having a safe space to brainstorm and problem-solve with my peers - it keeps me grounded and connected. While coaches and strategists are great for identifying blindspots, getting clarity and direction, for entrepreneurs especially those without big teams, this kind of support is invaluable.
I’m incredibly lucky to have created the community of my dreams, surrounded by Latina changemakers of various perspectives, industries and cultural backgrounds. The Jefa in Training Circle is more than just a community—it’s a source of support, inspiration and action.

Lesson #2: Rest as a Tool for Growth
After a year and a half of navigating infertility and the burnout that came with it, last month I found myself retreating to my safe space, my mom’s hometown of Morelia to heal. That time taught me gave me an opportunity to create what has become the REINICIO experience. I am excited to bring you to Mexico from April 10-17, 2025.
